Dual Ball Valve Assembly

Service conditions

A ball valve opens or closes the pipeline by rotating a ported ball. Port geometry, seats and stem sealing determine its operating performance. Selection should consider differential pressure, fluid cleanliness and cycling duty together.

Construction and description

For a combined valve assembly, define connections, switching sequence and port numbering in addition to individual valve selection. Review the flow diagram, isolation boundaries and potentially trapped fluid volumes and provide servicing clearance.

Configuration
